The floor plan of this spiral staircase has proportions according to the golden ratio or the Fibonacci spiral. The staircase is slightly more than 4.5 meters high and 2.5 meters wide.

Schijf WVB is a Dutch/Italian engineering office, specialized in steel stairways and railings. The work is completely in 3D. Since december 2000, they started using first PowerFrame and afterwards Diamonds to calculate the most complex staircases.
