Na Amsterdam, reist het Ecodome de wereld rond. De Ecodome is bedoeld als blikvanger op wereldwijde tentoonstellingen voor de promotie van Nederland de komende tijd.<\/p>\n\n<p>Groen vormt de basis voor het Travelling Ecodome, waarbij de bijzondere vormgeving, maar vooral de combinatie van de onderdelen uniek is. Het laat bezoekers zien en beleven hoe groen integraal onderdeel is van lifestyle en een gezonde leefomgeving. Wetenschap heeft aangetoond dat groen een intrinsieke waarde heeft. In het paviljoen wordt deze toegevoegde waarde voor de maatschappij vertaald in oplossingen en vormgeving die verwonderen en inspireren.<\/p>\n\n<p>Het stalen karkas van de imposante dome, berekend door Schijf WVB met Diamonds, wordt gevormd door \u201cbladeren\u201d bedekt met mos die het regenwater langdurig vasthouden en fijnstof afvangen uit de lucht. Het bijzondere aan dit project is dat het in een zeecontainer moet passen, om verscheept te worden naar evenementen en tentoonstellingen. De structuur is opgebouwd uit buisprofielen, voor eenvoudige montage en demontage. De dome staat los op de grond en is bijna 11 meter hoog en 22 meter in diameter.
