Designed as a steel frame structure with prefab concrete walls and sandwich panel walls, the structural engineering job proved to be a real challenge. What immediately catches the eye is the cantilever superstructure that is being supported by a number of V-shaped columns. Another building element that attracts the attention is the 35 meter canopy going over the entire building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this particular project the design of the canopy structure proved to be a major challenge, not in the least because of the size of the span. For this kind of structure, where wind loads are the decisive element, the convenient BuildSoft wind generator is extremely useful.
