Taking place between 12 – 13th of May 2021, the conference will be held via live Zoom. It will focus on the use of materials, techniques, digital practice, and structural paradigms. Structural engineers are invited to join in and uplift their structural design skills. Attendees will learn from global experts about technologies and products that help boost productivity, accuracy, and the quality of structural design work.

Our colleague Dorothée de Pauw will be taking the stage on May 13th at 16:10 –16:35 (GMT+1) to talk about 1-2-3 interoperability: smart BIM workflows in steel connection design. BIM Success Manager and Sales Engineer at BuildSoft for more than 15 years, Dorothée is a graduate of Civil Engineering at the University of Ghent. She has broad experience in structural analysis, Eurocodes, and optimizing workflows to boost customer productivity. Her specialty is in steel connections and BIM solutions for structural engineers.
Join her talk and learn how to create optimal steel connections in an instant to reduce your design time. Dorothée will be using the BIM Expert software to showcase how users can easily sync steel connection data to and from Tekla and to their preferred detailing software.
